I see you offer virtual makeup lessons. How does it work and what products do I need to have on hand?

Virtual makeup lessons are conducted over zoom. Once you book a lesson, I send over an email with a list of instructions including: how to set-up your computer, lighting, skin prep etc. Please review these instructions before the lesson- I want you to get the most out of our time together, and every little detail is important in creating the best virtual learning experience. For products, I have found most people have most of the items on my list.

For a complete list of the products I recommend having ready for your lesson, I invite you to read and review the Virtual Makeup Lessons Page by

How long have you been doing makeup?

Going on ten years!

What kinds of makeup do you use?

I use a range of products- brands you would find at Sephora and Nordstrom: MAC, Charlotte Tilbury, Bobbi Brown, Giorgio Armani Beauty, Nars, Too Faced, Laura Mercier, Marc Jacobs, Tom Ford etc.
What are your prices?
All my prices are listed here on my website, on the Rates & Services page. To get an idea of the price point, makeup applications at my home studio are $100 + HST and include false lashes. Makeup lessons (in person) are $150 and Virtual lessons are $50. All prices are in CAD.

I see you do personal makeup lessons. How does it work?

Yes! You can book a makeup lesson online; or get in touch through email or phone. Makeup lessons are booked for one on one, individual learning. I hold lessons in my home studio. They are 1.5 hour sessions and include a PDF (emailed to the participant) with all the steps we go over, as well as a list of products with links to purchase (or where to buy in-store). I have introduced virtual lessons this year. A virtual lesson is $50.00 and is conducted over zoom. For more on virtual/online makeup lessons, please click here

How did you get into makeup?

I have always been creative, painting in the traditional way, from a young age. Once I discovered that there was a school that taught you how to apply makeup, I was fascinated. I enrolled and started my journey to becoming a makeup artist. School was important, but the true learning comes from doing makeup on different faces. I is true what they say, you never stop learning.
Do you do makeup for darker skin tones?
Yes, I am trained to apply makeup on all skin tones. I am well equipped to do makeup, both in skill and in product, for different skin tones, types and ages.
Do you do hair too?
No, but I do work with a group of hair stylists. I can recommend some great, independent hair stylists who are mobile, but also have a salon space.
What are your bridal packages?

Bridal makeup packages are listed on the rates and services page of this website. Prices range from $200 for bridal makeup, and $315 for hair and makeup. Travel and taxes are applicable. In studio bridal makeup is $165 + tax. Currently, due to COVID_19 restrictions in Ontario, booking for bridal makeup is only available for 2022 and onward. We are currently not taking any new bridal bookings for 2021.

Do you do airbrush?
No, I do not do airbrush makeup. I use classic liquid and cream foundation. I have found over the years that classic foundation works best for all skin types and ages.
Do you travel to people’s homes?

Yes, I travel to your home, hotel or venue- wherever you are getting ready. I also have a home studio; a dedicated space connected to my home where I host clients for makeup and makeup and hair services.

Can I book a trial for my wedding day?
Yes, trials are important in determining the look you would like to achieve for your wedding day. Trials are booked once your wedding date is secured. This is done through payment of a deposit (typically 25% of the total services) and signing a contract.
Where are you located?
I am located in Etobicoke, a suburb of Toronto; Ontario, Canada.
